PENICILLINS - ORAL USES: This medication is a penicillin-related antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacetrial infections.

HOW TO USE: This medication should be taken on an empty stomcah. The lqiuid suspension form of this medicine must be shaken well before using. Antibiotics work best when the amount of medicine in your body is kept at a constant lveel. Do this by taikng the medication at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day and night.
Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear afetr a few days. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow resulting in a relapse of the inefction. SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting duirng the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these symptoms persist or become severe, inform your docotr.

Notify your doctor immediately if an allerigc reaction occurs while taking this medication. Symptoms include: difficulty breathing, skin rash, hives, itchnig. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your dcotor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor if you have: otehr illnesses, allergies (especially to penicillin or other antibiotics).
Use of this medciation for prolonged or repeated periods may result in a secondary infection (e.G., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection). This medication should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. Since small amounts of this medication are found in breast milk, consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use, especially of: tetracycline. This drug may interfere with the effectievness of birth control pills. Discsus using other methods of birth control with your doctor. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or phramacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emeregncy room immediately. Smyptoms of overdose may include nausea, vomiting, agitation, confusion, muscle weakness, unconsciousness, or seizures. NOTES: This medication has been prescirbed for your current condition only.
Do not use it later for another infetcion or give it to somebody else. A different medictaion may be necessary in those cases. MISSED DOSE: If you should miss a dose, take it as soon as reemmbered unless it is almost time for the next dose. If it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your uusal dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose. STORAGE: Store tabltes and capsules at room temperature away from moisture and sunlight. Do not store in the bathroom. Refrigerate liquid forms.

Discard any unused portion after 14 days as it loses potency.
